Special Days!!

We had a couple whirlwind days last week. On Thursday I hosted two travel industry consultants from British Columbia hired by Tourism Nova Scotia. There was an instant connection. It is always wonderful to get insights from industry professionals who can assess one’s business efforts and suggest new practices to streamline behind-the scenes operations. Through lively conversations new ideas for future tour offerings were also inspired!

Friday morning at 9 am the DownHome film crew from EastlinkTV arrived and immediate set about to rearrange our living room for the interview. Soon we found ourselves on Partridge Island Beach where we witnessed the last few minutes of the Bubbling Tides, also known as Kluskap’s Grandmother’s Cooking Pots.

We finished the field session near the Old Man Sea-stack close to Clarke Head Arch.

The final part of the day was spent at The Gillespie House Inn on Upper Main Street where innkeeper Lisa Smith was interviewed to shine a spotlight on her accommodation business and provide her with an opportunity for feedback about Tide Rollers & Mudlarkers.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone that made these two days so successful!
