Happy New Year, one and all!!

We woke up to the best news from Germany! Meet Louis, our grand-nephew, and our very own New Year’s baby in the family. He ignored all the due-date estimations and followed through on my prediction of arriving on January 1st.🎉🎉🎉

I started the year out fulfilling a promise to myself: my annual pilgrimage to Clarke Head. This year I invited some new friends and their dogs along. They have lived in the area for a bit longer than us but have not explored too many places. The wind was a bit chilly but nothing good clothing couldn’t control.
