Just before the “big rain” arrived this week I got out to capture some contemplative images of the peonies in the front garden bed. My timing was excellent as the blossoms were flattened by the deluge. Enjoy the images… imagine the scent! Happy Thursday, Anna
Beautiful blooms. Thank you!

Did you know that you can cut peony buds before they burst into full bloom; put them in a ziplock bag in the fridge vegetable drawer, and bring them out in a few weeks to enjoy them later. You have to cut the stems short, so when you bring them out later they only fit in a rose bowl. Mine lasted about a month.
