Meeting of the Waters, August 6th, 2023

Today was the first opportunity this summer to experience the incoming tide and feel the water rising from my ankles to just above my knees in 30 seconds. We were not disappointed by the action of water swirling around Big Island. It’s always a fantastic experience… the water was warm and the experience most therapeutic.       2. It occurs during every full moon cycle for a limited amount of time. This was my third year feeling it swirl around me. I have observed it countless time but the water has to be warm to immerse myself in it.
