Snowy Surprise!

Daylight revealed a layer of snow blanketing the landscape this morning! No words are necessary to describe my surprise. There was a silver lining to the weather change… the Canada Geese had a blast getting a polar dip bath! Now, if that doesn’t put a smile on your face I will be surprised!😁 Enjoy, Anna

Marsh Bubbles…

The marsh near Partridge Island sits on top of ancient basalt beds. With each tide cycle we witness tiny bubbles emerging from the porous rocks. Ancient indigenous legends tell us that the spots where the water bubbles are Glooscap’s Grandmother’s Cooking Pots.
