Those who know me well remember that I don’t carry a particular fondness for spiders… in the house. This year our autumn just continues to surprise us with warm temperatures and the outdoor spiders have been busy!
I decided to share a few of the images I gathered over the past month. Enjoy and all the best for a wonderful weekend, Anna
I’m not a fan of spiders either. I’ve tried many times to portray them in some fiber art, with not much success. After seeing these great photos, I see that showing them with the dew or raindrops is the way to go. They sure stand out. Thanks for sharing.

Fascinating, aren’t they? Just add some water droplets and they shine, literally.

Spiders creating diamonds in the rain. I don’t like spiders but they are very creative.

Actually, we had heavy fog that created the water droplets, not rain😁

A person just can’t help but admire the industriousness and creativity of the spiders that spun these amazing, intricate webworks you have captured with your camera Anna. I understand that spider silk threads like this are very strong and thus able to support the weight of dew drops and ‘fog drops’ that are caught in them. Thank you for illuminating this tiny precious part of the environment you inhabit there along with the spiders, like them or not!
