Another busy Wednesday…

The regular walk in the morning… …followed by a snowshoe excursion in the afternoon. These are the things worth sharing. Just finished working on a proposal for five hours. Such tedious work without physical activity… and just like that another day is over! Good night, world!

And so it begins…

…my first tour registration for June 27th arrived via email on this snowy day today! Thanks @KeepYourDayDream for the opportunity to show you around the Parrsboro Shore area in June 2023.

Another Sunday, Another New Trail to Discover

There was a chill in the air but I had planned to check out a new trail as a possibility for my Wednesday hikers. My friend and I enjoyed the hike, we even found a way to make the original trail connect to create a loop. The terrain was steep, too steep for the variedContinue reading “Another Sunday, Another New Trail to Discover”

Parrsboro: Wednesday Winter Walks & Hikes

In January 2023 I started to offer free guided hikes following the Wednesday morning walks. There was always at least one interested hiker and we set about exploring together. I couldn’t have been more wrong!Continue reading “Parrsboro: Wednesday Winter Walks & Hikes”

Quick Excursion to Cape d’Or

A Day of Learning…

A fantastic day spent at the Joggins Fossil Cliffs with presenters from Digital Nova Scotia. So much to reflect on: digital marketing, embracing AI as a tool to assist with content and creating short videos for social media. There was a lot to unpack and as they said in closing: use it or loose it!Continue reading “A Day of Learning…”

Great Custom Tour with Clients from Alaska!

I just knew that an email ten days ago would bring very motivated clients my way! The brief requested a walk on the ocean floor and exploring dinosaurs! Trail Scouting Day

We set out with the intention of hiking to Red Head Look-off in Five Islands Provincial Park only. The biggest reward was the way the cliff colours were illuminated just as we arrived at our destination.
