It has been a day filled with beautiful scenery, human interaction and weighing future endeavours: from experiencing fog-shrouded vistas to meeting students at Springhill Highschool during their career day, the afternoon was filled spending time with Jon from Raven Productions capturing scenery in and around Parrsboro for a special project.

Peach in the sky made for the perfect start to a Meeting of the Waters excursion, the last for this season! It was a real pleasure to take this young , professional couple from Toronto (far from the 401 hustle and bustle…) out this morning.

Mindfulness Photography at Five Islands Provincial Park

Excellent turn out for our first ever free mindfulness photography session at Five Islands Provincial Park last Friday afternoon! Interested? Our next session takes place on Saturday, September 27th from 2-4 pm in the Day use area. Look for the sign!

Free Fall Hikes Kick-off Event a Huge Success!

Off to a great start: We had a fantastic turn out for our first Hike NS fall event in the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark. The destination: Brookville Formation. Texas to Soley Cove: a fun-loving, energetic family ocean floor walk full of sunshine and gentle breezes… Summer continues in the Bay of Fundy! It was such a pleasure to meet this Dallas-based family and watch how much they loved their custom tour.

September ocean floor walks are the best! What a pleasure it was to take this group to Soley Cove to witness the Aeolian Sandstone Cliffs with their high tide markings, watch the tide turning and even taste the odd sea olive😁

The Fundy Discovery Site in Lower Truro marks the first of the Cliffs of Fundy GeoSite. I had the opportunity to witness the tidal bore at this location in the past. September started on a positive note! These fun-loving folk on their way to an Airstream meet-up stopped by to walk on the ocean floor! What a great bunch: their curiosity and sense of wonder made for some magical moments. Soley Cove never disappoints.
